Catherine Horvath, J.D.

Catherine Horvath is an active law enforcement officer with more than 19 years experience. She has been an instructor in Active Shooter Response for both law enforcement and private citizens since 2007. She is a subject matter expert in active shooter events, police use of force, and hazardous materials response and protection. Catherine has worked in the fields of Patrol, Advanced Training, Covert / Decoy Operations, and Investigations. She is also the security coordinator for a large-scale multi-day athletic event, and has served as event manager / director for several smaller events.
